In the last nine years, more than 3000 Beida students have taken part in the various English-language stage productions of the Institute of World Theatre and Film under the School of Foreign Languages of Peking University. These productions have been seen by literally ten of thousands of audience members in China as well as in 6 other countries*. The institute has employed 75 professional Western actors (both British and American Equity members) as well as 50 professional Chinese actors to work in these productions.
*As well as performing inMainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, some of our productions have toured in America, England and in the Middle East.
